My practice as a residential architect spans nearly 25 years. Having been associated with two of Seattle's premier residential architecture design firms for 20 years until I established my own practice in 2015, I continue my specialization with single-family homes, providing highly-tuned design and consulting services for small or large projects, from remodels to additions to entirely new construction. My focus is to shape the reality of the built product with the dreams and intentions of my clients, with careful consideration of all contributing factors - design aesthetics, scope of work, quality of construction, schedule and budget.
Originally from a small, industrial city in Pennsylvania, I ventured to Massachusetts for college - Brandeis University - and the start of graduate architecture school - Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Wanderlust brought me to the Northwest where I completed my Master of Architecture degree at University of Oregon in 1989. I migrated up the coast and have been in the Seattle area ever since, except for a year of world-wide travel, but that's a whole other story ...
